The Cissbury Estate is made up of an impressive country house and two wonderful brick and flint barns, set within the South Downs National Park. They are situated just outside Findon, north of Worthing in West Sussex. Weddings at Cissbury Barns are always a great event, with wonderful photographs and memories to be made, as well as stunning gardens to wander through.
The large barns themselves are shielded by woodland and for over 200 years, they have been at the heart of sheep farming. Now transformed into stylish barns and fully occupied throughout the summer months as a glorious events and wedding venue. One barn is fronted by a lawned garden and the other has a beautiful patio. Both barns are licensed for civil ceremonies and offer a wonderfully romantic setting. You can use both barns, one to be married in, with the other being set up for your wedding reception. With both barns, your guests will be able to enjoy the brick and flint walled gardens and the wonderful lawns that are perfect for drinks, between the ceremony and reception. The large and bespoke barn doorways offer great light into each barn, with the adjacent open fronted lambing pens now the fabulously popular bar and lounge area.
The Wedding Catering
We are very proud to be an approved caterer of this beautiful venue. Cissbury Barns can accommodate 120 people for the ceremony in the top barn, followed by a 3 course meal in the bottom barn also for 120 guests. The facilities on site are second to none, the barns have been newly renovated to the highest levels and the atmosphere around the Cissbury exclusive bar area will never be forgotten by your guests. The opportunities at this venue are endless.
