What look are you going for?
For all of our couples who are getting married with us this summer and indeed next year, here is a little inspiration to get you just a little bit more excited.
We have gone through our photo library and picked out a few marquee photos we think will help you decide how you could decorate your marquee. Even though our marquees are simple with ivory swagging throughout, there are so many ways you can decorate the interior to further suit your taste. We give you the blank canvas and then you can make it your own!
Wedding Tables
There are some quite stunning centrepieces you could have, that include flowers, candles, topiary or whatever means something to you. They can stand tall and proud in the middle of each table, or blend in seemlessly with the rest of your tableware.
Wedding favours need to find a sensible home on each place setting – be creative though! There is so much out there that you could give. It’s not just about sugared almonds anymore, although they are still lovely!
And don’t forget the shape of your tables. You may like the classic and traditional round tables with a separate table for the wedding party. Or how about long tables, so you don’t have such a worry about the seating plan!
Chairs
So much choice for your chairs and it is critical that whatever you choose blends in with the rest of the marquee. You can choose coloured swagging and covers, white or gold chairs or perhaps add something special of your own. Just make sure they are comfortable enough for the speeches! we can also supply some beautiful cream sofas, that look amazing and give some of your guests a different place to sit, while photographs are being taken or for in the evening.
Lighting
Lighting is vital, to ensure that you have suitable lighting for each eventuality. Will you have enough light on the unfortunate timing of a dull and rainy day? Yet you don’t want the lighting to be too intrusive and bright. It is a fine balance and we can help you with ideas on chandeliers, candles and other subtle lighting. And don’t forget the star light dance floor lighting – just beautiful.
Outside
Don’t stop on the interior of your marquee. You can always use fairy lights, bunting and even plants to make the outside of your marquee look even more beautiful. We love to see how you are going to personalise the marquee for your own wedding day. It’s the small details that really matter and will make your wedding marquee totally individual to your own taste.
