Have you just got engaged? Has your partner just gone down on one knee and made your Christmas or New Year extra special? This time of year always has a really high rate of wedding engagements, with couples getting caught up in many romantic Christmas proposals.

Will it be a long engagement?

And the next question is….how long will it be until you choose the date for your wedding? Some people, for one reason or another, will opt for a long engagement. And that is absolutely fine. Circumstances could be that some may not be able to commit to dates, bookings etc. Not yet anyway.

However, if you are completely caught up in all the excitement of your new engagement and you want to get the ball rolling, then now is the time to do it! Get all the initial bookings made, or at least start to look. What is first?
