We came across Brewerstreet Farmhouse and Super Event Catering & Marquee Hire Ltd online after deciding that we wanted a marquee style wedding reception.
We were instantly won over by the beautiful setting of the venue and having the majority of the wedding all catered for by one company was extremely enticing.
Both Chrystelle from Super Event Catering & Marquee Hire Ltd and Chris from Brewerstreet were extremely professional and accommodating toward our requirements, including our choice of vegan meals.
On the lead up to the wedding the communication was excellent and any queries we had were always answered promptly.
The food tasting was a great experience. A mini wedding, which we enjoyed, accompanied by our parents and got to see how the marquee set up and the day would run.
The ceremony and reception spaces were set up on a Thursday with the wedding on the Saturday. Giving us plenty of time to put the decorations and finishing touches to the marquees. We met with the team the day before, whilst they laid the tables and gave us a run down of how the day would pan out.
On the day the team were extremely attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. From the ceremony, to the reception drinks and dinner, we couldn’t have wished for more. Many of our guests even commented how excellent the service was; never an empty wine bottle on the table! We opted for unlimited drinks package including spirits….which from what we can remember was the best decision we have ever made!
The food was praised by everyone and our vegan meals were delicious! Everyone got champagne for the toasts and we were even allowed to bring some alcohol of our own. We opted for the National drink of Colombia called Aguardiente – great to get the party started.
