It was the small details like that that made you realise just how much Tony and the team cared and wanted you to have the perfect day.
From the moment that we saw our venue online and discovered its beauty, we knew that we wanted to get married there! We arranged a visit and met with Tony, who put us at ease instantly. We fell in love with the venue more than either of us could have imagined. Beautiful setting, wonderful grounds and we wanted to get married there. From that moment onwards, Chrystelle and Tony provided us with all the support and guidance that we needed and discussed the different options that were available to us to make our day extra special. Chrystelle was great and is very quick to respond to questions and queries, which is a great attribute for a bride who is worrying about everything!
We made it clear what we wanted for our special day and between Chrystelle and Tony, they made sure that this happened. Neither of us wanted a wedding that was too formal and we wanted our guests to have a relaxed experience. This was all do-able, and with guidance from Chrystelle we were able to have the wedding of our dreams with a relaxed approach to dining which was something that was important to both of us.
Canapes were served after the ceremony and they went down an absolute treat! All of our guests commented on how delicious the canapes were from the mini fish and chip cones to the chicken skewers! We opted for a BBQ to be served as our main dish and again the team were very accommodating to various dietary requirements. And the food was delicious! During the wedding reception we opted for a fajita bar and our guests loved it! It was a different option for guests and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
We opted to serve all of our own drinks and the team were very helpful on the day and were always filling up a glass.
This was perfect! Where can we start…from arrival, the team and Tony were so organised and helpful. From serving drinks to guests on arrival, to making sure the day went perfectly without a glitch. Communication was fantastic and both Kieran and I were kept in the loop as to what we needed to do next. Tony even made sure that the campervan the bride and bridesmaids arrived in was well hidden, to prevent any chance of us being spotted. The ceremony was held under the arches; the most perfect setting and under a clear marquee, just in case the weather wanted to change its mind and rain. Again evidencing that every detail is considered and thought through. After the ceremony, the canapes were served and everybody had a drink in hand. The team were great and didn’t leave a glass empty whilst photos were being taken.
The venue is so beautiful and we feel so lucky to have got married in such wonderful grounds. The setting really made the day extra special and was a talking point for all of our guests. We have been asked where we got married on a number of occasions following the wedding and people are shocked to find out where it is – it is a hidden gem!
The staff on the day really helped to ensure that it ran smoothly, from drinks, to food, to serving the wedding cake, everyone seemed happy to be there and that made it special.
