Sue and I wanted to have a church wedding with a marquee for the celebrations afterwards. After a quick google search we came across Super Event and got in touch with Chrystelle who was incredibly helpful and put our minds at ease straight away. We realised that Super Event would be able to organise absolutely everything from start to finish and that was really important to us and to make it as stress-free as possible.
We met Tony at our proposed venue, a school sport ground, in order for him to check for lots of important details such as the precise position of the marquee, access for vehicles, electric and water supplies and toilet facilities. We were so impressed with Tony’s huge experience and his attention to detail so we were certain that we did not need to look elsewhere.
Every single person we met from the men helping with parking, to the lovely waitresses, bar man and cooks and EVERYONE were friendly and informative. The marquee was superb and the interior really luxurious. We came away completely stuffed with delicious food and wine(!), but even more importantly, massively reassured that we were in safe and hugely experienced hands with Chrystelle, Tony and the whole Super Event team. We felt far more relaxed and excited about our ‘special day’ and it was really nice to know that Chrystelle would be there to help us each step of the way – and what a lot of steps there were !
The marquee was put up a few days beforehand in a very organised way and we were stunned that a huge marquee could be put up in just a few hours. Chrystelle did a brilliant job helping us plan all the seating arrangements including quite a few last minute changes. We opted to have a bar and a black lining over the dance floor to make the interior look more inviting. After the wedding ceremony at church we all gathered at the marquee at about 4.30 pm. Everything was perfectly ready for us. We had canapes to start with and sparkling wine, sandwiches and cakes for an afternoon tea, then later in the evening we had a BBQ, all of which was beautifully prepared and served by experienced and friendly staff.
Nothing was left to chance and Super Event made completely sure that there was plenty of wine, beers and soft drinks to cater for everyone. All the staff helped the day run very smoothly and made sure that everyone was in the right place at the right time.
We really want to say a huge thank you to Super Event for helping make our wedding such a happy, fantastic and special day. It was excellent value for money and it exceeded all our expectations in every way and our 140 guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We would highly recommend your truly brilliant company and would be happy to talk any potential customers personally.
