The newest venue to be added to the Super Event Catering & Marquee Hire Ltd family is this wonderful location in Northiam. We are very proud to now offer marquee hire as well as being wedding caterers at Brickwall House.
Brickwall House has been around since 1666 so is steeped in wonderfully fascinating history of times gone by. Set amongst beautifully tended historic gardens in an a 60-acre estate, this is an impressive Grade I listed Jacobean Manor House. At Brickwall House you will discover all the character of a grand country house. Combined with all the modern facilities to ensure that perfect occasion.
During term-time Brickwall House is actually a Dyslexia school. So weddings are only held during the summer holidays, making it extremely exclusive. As with many other stunning locations we work with, they only have one wedding per day. Which ensures you will have the whole venue to yourselves.
Ceremonies at Brickwall House
If you would like everything to happen in one place then this venue is an ideal choice. You can choose either to marry in a civil ceremony in the drawing room, with space for 90 comfortably and a further 30 if you also use the courtyard.
Or if you would prefer, you could hold a humanist ceremony on one of their wonderful lawns. Perhaps next to the topiary garden looking out onto the deer park. These will be able to accommodate up to 200 seated and are a really popular option.
There is also the beautiful St Mary’s Church in Northiam, holding up to 150 guests, if you are connected to the area.
Staying here
There is the option to invite your guests to stay at Brickwall House, as all events will be held during the holidays. Up to 46 people can stay in the well appointed en-suite bedrooms. You can take this opportunity to “glamp” in a luxury bell tent within the grounds, which come with showering and toilet facilities. Ideal if you want to carry on your celebrations a little longer!
There is also a bridal dressing room which is a really nice touch.
Marquee Weddings
Holding more than 150 seated guests, you will be able to enjoy your wedding in one of Super Event Catering & Marquee Hire Ltd’s luxury marquees on the wonderfully tended lawns. There are some great photo opportunities within the grounds, making this an ideal option. They have a late license until 1am, so with a silent disco, you can keep your celebrations going well into the small hours!
Wedding Caterers at Brickwall House
As with all Super Event Catering & Marquee Hire Ltd weddings, you can be guaranteed to receive exceptional food. If there is time, you will be able to join us at one of our food tasting days. (Always popular with our couples!) Where you can enjoy lots of mini tastes of our glorious menu. Not sure if this makes your decision harder or easier. There is so much choice and you will probably want to choose everything we offer! Or so we are told…
We also do not charge for corkage, so you can bring your own drink. This is a great option and something that many couples take advantage of. If however, you want to keep everything easy on yourselves, then we do some great drink packages!
