The setting at Brewerstreet Farmhouse is so beautiful and the gardens provided the perfect setting for the drinks reception
We had a great experience with Super Event Catering & Marquee Hire Ltd. The food tasting evening was amazing, we took along both sets of parents and it felt like a dress rehearsal! Was great fun. The food was delicious and made it so difficult to choose our final menu, we really were spoilt for choice.
We finally settled on the aromatic duck salad to start, followed by the Southdown lamb shank. Even at our final meeting, we were still struggling to decide between the delicious sweets, then Tony suggested we had a platter of our three favourite desserts as minis – orange & Grand Marnier cheesecake, lemon posset, chocolate truffle – perfect solution! The hog roast for the evening topped off the delicious food, and having seen the hog cooking during the day, our guests were delighted to have a chance to tuck into that later on! Catering for all sorts of allergies and dietary intolerances was super easy! We had a number of vegetarians, dairy-free and a vegan to think of, but no problem for Super Event Catering & Marquee Hire Ltd, they have thought of everything!
We were very fortunate and had the marquee to decorate on the Thursday; we hung almost 100 pastel-coloured paper lanterns from the marquee lining. Chris and Sasha showed us around Brewerstreet Farmhouse and helped in any way they could. All the tables were laid by Friday lunchtime, we set out our table gifts, and we had a final meeting with the onsite team to ensure everything was correct. We left the marquee around 4pm on the Friday knowing everything was ready for the next day.
As for the day itself, it couldn’t have run more smoothly! We arrived a little later than expected from the church but we had the amazing Mark keeping us on track for all our timings throughout the rest of the day and evening. The food was perfect, even better than the tasting evening, in fact most of the guests commented on how delicious the food was. We went for the “gold” package and had the included drinks too, I would recommend anyone going for this option as there is no worry that you will run out; the drinks just keep flowing! Throughout the whole day, Mark and his team were very attentive, especially making sure the bridal party were catered for and had everything they needed.

It was so wonderful seeing all the family and friends you love celebrating together in the marquee, and having such a brilliant time. We have received countless compliments on our special day, in fact several people have told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! The setting at Brewerstreet Farmhouse is so beautiful, the gardens provide the perfect setting for the drinks reception, Chris and Sasha are excellent hosts and all in all, we were able to have a relaxed fun-filled day which has created the best memories ever!
